BEGINNER DIVISION

This tournament category is for individuals who are new to the game of pickleball. You maybe have played recreationally a few times, or maybe taken an introduction class somewhere, but really are quite new to the sport and have limited experience. From a pickleball rating standpoint, this section is for individuals levelled 2.0-2.5.

For all teams registering in this division, we will go over rules and how to play for the first 10-15 min prior to your tournament beginning.

INTERMEDIATE DIVISION

This category is for individuals who have been around the game of pickleball before and are active players. You have a clear understanding of the fundamentals, know how to scorekeep, and have a general understanding of proper court positioning. If the words “dink” and “drop shot” are in your vocabulary and you attempt to hit these in your play, this tournament category is for you. From a pickleball rating standpoint, this section is for individuals levelled 3.0-3.49 in the world of pickleball.

ADVANCED DIVISION

This category is for our highest level players that have some solid experience. These players understand the difference between their soft and hard game and are much more consistent with their shots and skill execution. If you are someone who has more consistency with your drop shots, gets into extended dinking rallies, and can put your opponent in trouble with smart shots, then this tournament section is for you. From a rating standpoint, this section is for individuals levelled 3.5-4.0+ in the world of pickleball.
