Open Play pickleball is designed to create a vibrant and engaging community atmosphere. It’s a fantastic opportunity for players to not only enjoy the game but also build friendships and socialize with fellow pickleball enthusiasts. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just starting out, our open play sessions are inclusive and welcoming to all skill levels.

Open Play sessions are open to players of all skill levels. Whether you're a beginner, intermediate, or advanced player, you’ll find a place in our community. The inclusive nature of Open Play ensures that everyone has a chance to participate, improve their skills, and enjoy the game.

Upon arrival, players will use our registration whiteboard to sign up for their next match. To ensure balanced and enjoyable games, we use a color-coded system for self-assessed skill levels:

  • Red for beginners

  • Green for intermediates

  • Blue for advanced players

This system helps players find suitable matches quickly and easily, promoting a fair and competitive environment.

Each match during Open Play is one set to 11 points. Once a match reaches 11 points, players leave the court, allowing the next match to begin. This format ensures that everyone gets ample playing time and the opportunity to face different opponents.

After completing a match, players sign up for their next game on the registration board. When a designated match has four players signed up and a court becomes available, that match takes the field of play. This continuous cycle keeps the games flowing smoothly and minimizes waiting time, ensuring that everyone has a chance to play multiple matches throughout the session.

Open Play pickleball is all about enjoying the game, improving your skills, and being part of a supportive community. Join us and experience the fun and camaraderie of Open Play!
